Ms. Marram is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who has conducted hundreds of evaluations within the Massachusetts Courts, providing expert testimony related to involuntary psychiatric and involuntary substance use commitments, as well as aid in sentencing evaluations. She also provides her opinion to the Courts regarding need for care and treatment, as well as risk assessment. Ms. Marram has many years of experience working at an Emergency Services Program, providing immediate crisis interventions to individuals experiencing acute psychiatric episodes and assisting them to obtain the most appropriate treatment for their needs. Ms. Marram has significant experience working in a medical setting as well; working alongside physicians to assist family members who have sought guardianship of loved ones through the Courts. She has a Master of Social Work degree with a concentration in clinical social work, as well as substance use counseling. Ms. Marram is licensed to practice social work independently throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Dr. Maney is a Licensed Psychologist Provider in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of New Hampshire. She is board certified in forensic psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). Dr. Maney is also a Designated Forensic Psychologist and Qualified Examiner in Massachusetts. She has worked in both state and federal prisons, as well as in the Massachusetts court system. Dr. Maney has conducted hundreds of forensic evaluations, and she has testified as an expert in hundreds of cases. She has testified in the federal court system, as well as in both district and superior courts throughout New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Dr. Maney has taught courses in forensic psychology, at both the undergraduate and graduate level, and has supervised undergraduate and graduate interns, postdoctoral fellows, and other psychologists. Additionally, Dr. Maney has conducted forensically-relevant research and presented at national conferences on numerous occasions. She has also co-authored book chapters on the topic of risk assessment.
